[Proposal] Parameter Change: Increase Deposit Amount for IRISnet Governance

To deter spam governance proposals containing malicious links that can harm the unaware IRISnet community, and encourage thoughtful proposal submissions, we propose raising the current deposit amount (which is a subtle cost for spamming) for IRISnet governance.

By the time of writing and at the current token price value, the minimum deposit costs  1,000 IRIS (approximately 30 USDequivalent) , which appears to be insufficient for preventing spam and marketing proposals.

The minimum deposit will be raised to 5,000 IRIS if this proposal is approved (approximately 150 USD equivalent). This change is not permanent and can be reversed at any time through governance.

Voting

• By voting YES, you agree that the minimum deposit for a proposal to enter the voting period should be increased from 1,000 IRIS to 5,000 IRIS.
• By voting NO, you disagree in part or in entirety with one or more of the above statements.
• By voting ABSTAIN, you formally decline to vote either for or against the proposal.
• By voting NOWITHVETO, you seek to penalize the proposal depositors by burning their deposit, and contribute towards an automatic 1/3 veto threshold, which would result in proposal failure if reached.
